The first half of the book deals with the psychology of both the market and the trader. I didn’t fully appreciate this portion of Dr. Elder’s book until I began trading. This is the biggest obsticle of the trader. His insight has really helped me to understand the movements of the market and myself as a trader. Read more

As for the positive points of the book, the title is dead on: “A BEGINNERS Guide to Day Trading Online”. The book is a great primer that introduces you to the world of day trading, trading jargon and terminology and, although briefly, charting and technical analysis. The book is well written and Toni Turner does a great job of explaining things in layman’s terms. Read more
The Complete Guide to Day Trading
This book was a decent, quick read. And it does a pretty good job at explaining the basics to brand new day traders. It also has some good organizational information in there for anyone. But if you’re looking for a book to explain specific setups, time of day, etc…..this isn’t the one for you.
